Fur Fashion Lovers!

I am diving into this seasons fur trend being the must have item to add to your winter wardrobe.

(I’m sorry that I am picking some expensive brands. I just think they show more quality and brave the weather better. They have been coming back continuously now in the winter season so it’s worth spending a little more to save yourself spending each year.)

John Lewis – a lovely faux fur head band to wear with a nice leather jacket and Culottes or jeans. with even slip on vans or Adidas kicks. Dress up or down! This item makes you look effortlessly stunning for the winter month how ever you wear it.

When I got on my platform for the train, I saw a few poeple wearing fur headbands and I was in awe. Now I seriously need to get in gear and get one!

This beautiful, anyway you wear it, scarf – from ASOS, is a brilliant peice to add to glam up your wardrobe. Whether you wear it around your arms, over the shoulders and across your chest or even wear it with casual wear, the colour and style is brilliant for any occasion. Luxury and class all the way.

You can get a really toastie look with this gorgeous Gilet from OASIS. Wear knit underneath and you will be hugging yourself like a teddy. A nice trendy day time look.

Hope you guys look into adding something fury to your outfit as it’s so gorgeous and such a statement item to have at the moment and defiantly worth looking into. Venture out and go beyond these products shown and let me know if you have seen anything, have bought already.

Thanks for reading! x

Ecstatic! My 2nd award!

award.png

I would like thank petrel41 for this award I’m really happy as this is such a great award to get fellow bloggers names known. I love petrel41 blog! Such good reads and are original.

I love blogging and fellow bloggers as they give me so much support. Especially my followers, who encourage me to do more posts and give such positive feedback!

The ‘rules’ of the Real Neat Blog Award are: (feel free not to act upon them if you don’t have time; or don’t accept awards; etc.):

1. Put the award logo on your blog.

2. Answer 7 questions asked by the person who nominated you.

3. Thank the people who nominated you, linking to their blogs.

4. Nominate any number of bloggers you like, linking to their blogs.

5. Let them know you nominated them (by commenting on their blog etc.)

seven questions for me:

1. Where do most visits to your blog come from?

I like this question, because I always look at my daily, weekly and monthly visits. The Uk- 100, US – 60, India- 24, Netherlands and Canada 10 loads more. Like Korea, Switzerland and Japan at around 5. I love that my posts have reached international screens.

2. What is your favourite sport?

everyone says its not a sport but Cheerleading is a sport. I did cheer for 3 years and was the best experience ever, I knew how to work as a team and it was a feeling of a family unit I’ve never experiences so quickly before.

3. What has been a special moment for you so far in 2016?

Not a lot, I don’t think 2k16 has been the best year, but I guess being accepted for University of South Wales and being on a accredited course for Journalism. Very exciting!

4. What is your favourite quote?

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… something I should learn

5. What is/was your favourite class when still at school?

Art was my favourite, because I did intense courses so going in to art was relaxing and like a break and I had an A* in a levels, I need to get back into art to be honest.

6. Anything you had wished to have learned earlier?

To not stress and worry about things too much because no one is going to care when your gone and it wont matter in 5 minutes time. Everything will be ok.

7. Which politician would you never vote for, supposing you could vote for him or her?

I don’t really follow politics which is bad because I’m a journalist, but its not a side of journalism I want to go in to. I don’t know how to answer this questions whether this is on about the UK politics or any other country.

My questions:

  1. What are your hobbies?
  2. Who inspires you day to day?
  3. What is one thing you would change about the world
  4. Do you think global warming is our fault, natures cycle, or both?
  5. Thoughts on Donald Trump?
  6. Where do you see yourself/ what are your future plans/hopes for in the next 5 years
  7. What is one thing you would tell your younger self.

Vogues in love with Romantic ruffles

These romantic vintage looking ruffle/frill tops and dresses are all in this season. I can’t get enough of them and they are everywhere in vogue.

Such a classic look. I’d love to wear that top with some skinny jeans and black heels for a formal event or a night time dining occasion.

The inspired classic look. The bottom picture is a great example of how modern you can get these ruffles. With it’s style not loosing it’s origin statement with only the print jazzing the dress up a bit…

Topshop do this amazing vintage but querky twist on this beautiful animal print dress. ^^

Here is my H&M buy. A stunning edgie look with a pair of mom jeans and Roche or slip on vans. Even with boots to make it look more high end.

 Thanks for readings guys x

Autumn/ Winter Makeup

It’s a new season and what a great time to change your makeup bag with some beautiful dark tonal colours. I’ve asked many women what their favourites are for winter time and the responses varied.

When I spoke to the women they all started with eyeshadow pallets and Morphe350 was on all of their lips.

Morphe was clearly this seasons top choice for a mix of warm winter colours. Due to its effortless versatile looks for the day or night time glam. The burgundy and dark grey toned browns were the most favourite choice for every day or evening wear. This pallette defiantly has the right amount of matte and shimmer in one platte.

One of the makeup brands that most of the women spoke about buying for their lipstick was of course MAC. When ever I’m on a night out and need emergency lipstick asap, or compliment someone I always get the answer, ” I have MAC. ”

Whirl (right) & Velvet Teddy (left) has been everyone’s top choice due to it’s lovely natural colours. MAC is such a reliable product to buy with it’s long lasting matte affect making it such a popular brand.

Hang Up (left)  has a deep berry colour that screams sas & Party Line (right) has a more red tone plum colour. These being more edgier colours to wear for night time glam.

I have found a lot of people favoured the more quality and expensive brands of makeup. I also came across women who loved more affordable brands for the exact same quality as products already mentioned.

Topshop and Kiko also seemed to be a trend especially for students. A quick and easy reliable appliance for everyday or a much needed drink after uni!

Kikos water eyeshadow creates a bright and pure luminosity with amazing coverage and is for sure long lasting. Just on its own this eyeshadow is a must have for a simple dark tone affect. The young women also swore by the Topshops satin finish lipstick for a classic chic look which would go lovely with the Kiko eyeshadow. Two little pocket must haves and your good to go.

Everyones shopping Velevet

Sophia richie flaunts these contemporary tasmine blue velvet cigarette trousers. I love this night time look. The sparkly gold strappy heels and the jewelery which play a huge part to the entire outfit creates a distinct night time style and breaks it away from the very focused one shade of blue. You’re never wrong to add another block colour if wanted to, like white heels. However, the sparkle in the gold screams sas! from Prettylittlething

Kill it in the day time too don’t forget because you are seen by more. This combo of floral and velvet is so elegant,  I think a good pair of tights and ankle boots would do the trick.

Velvet just makes anything look luxurious. Anyone can buy a body suit like this but because it’s velvet you will look like quality and equally picture perfect for every day and night, in just a pair of black skinny jeans and stilettos/ or Nike/Adidas kicks – This suits any occasion.

The twist front velvet crop top is so sweet in Topshop. You can get this simular look in the stores tagged above and if your looking for this in Topshop I’d always get the next size up as the styling of the top rises up and is snug fitting. This would be great with a leather pencil skirt.

Last bust certainly not least my favourite look. Certainly what I’d wear with the long sleeved velvet crop top from Zara. Very winter warm. City Street style at its best. Beautiful.
