Why NOT to use dry shampoo products and what to replace it with

Any dry shampoo products are harmful to your hair and scalp. A huge no no. No matter how much it helps and is convenient to you for every day ocations. It’s so incredibly harmful and I’ll tell you all the things that happens when using dry shampoo

  • The ingredients used in dry shampoo
  • It drys your hair out and used so many times you begin to itch your scalp and the ingredients leaves patches in your hair line where the hair eventually falls out due to lack of  natural oil
  • The bottom of your hair becomes brital and dry

My hair dresser warned me that my hair was in bad condition about 2 years ago and asked what I had been doing to it and said “Just brushing normally and using pantene…oh and dry shampoo.” She was not happy as I shouldn’t use dry shampoo all the time.

I couldn’t believe this and was devastated as I’m too busy and don’t have the time to wash my hair every morning but there was no way I was going to go out with greasy hair.

But then I came across TALC!!!!

I know I’m showing a picture of nivea fine talc as this is the product I use but you can by any.

Talc has helped me so much as it’s more moisturising and yet still keeps my hair looking dry and not greasy. So soft and light and easy on my hair.  It can sort of stick a little so just damp your hand and run through areas that are more white or really light on your hair to reduce this.

My hair dresser noticed a massive difference guys🗝

QUIT YOUR DRY SHAMPOO!!!  be kind to your hair🌷

Quit that bloated tummy

I AM A LATE NIGHT SNACKER!!!! it’s bad but I can’t help it, you shouldn’t have to feel guilty if your hungry, just eat! You can’t sleep with your stomach gurgling all night.

So help yourself. Don’t eat high in fat or carb foods like toast and crisps because you’ll gain weight quick!!!!

Here’s what I try to eat late at night

I always have porridge! Atilicois brand is expensive but so worth it. I’ve bought cheaper brands but the oats are like crums and not fresh tasting if that makes sense?

  • With the small sache, cut the top off where it says and poor the oats into the bowl
  • The milk goes into the empty sache and poor into the bowl, give a little stir
  • Put into microwave for 1 minute and keep an eye on it
  • If dry add tiny bit of milk

I love to add honey to my porridge as it’s just too plain and I randomly put sliced grapes in my porridge because it’s surprisingly lush!!!! I slice them because I find it better to chew than a full grape? I’m weird.

Here’s my finishing result! If you guys try it let me know in the comments how you like it!!! Be interesting to see, plus it doesn’t seem like a lot but it’s so filling😮 so it keeps you fuller for longer x

Another fun switch it up outfit

The weather is currently miserable here in Britain. But my outfits not!

2x nice and simple outfits you can wear and still pull off an edgie and indie look by just changing two items of clothing.

  • Here is a really relaxed look…shop here
  •  Select and primarkNewlook and H&M for a cheaper purchase rather than your main stores like Urban Outfitters and Topshop for you to get this sort of style.
  •  With the simple plain top with slits on the sides, you can easily create yourself. Buy any random long short sleeved top and cut the sides to make slits. As you tend to pay more for tops already made with slits

The second look…(Being my favourite) is using two of the same item thus being the top and jeans, but just changing the jacket and shoes to make your outfit look high end and sexyyyyy!

  • A normal sized heel in a nice statement colour to make the outfit come together and pop bresking uo the top and coat as they are heavy dark colours.
  • The mom jeans give it that edgy, classy laid back feature to the outfit.
  • The leather jacket is also a great feature instead of a Cardigan going best with the heels.

(If you do wear a Cardigan with heels, it’s best not to have a nitted Cardigan as it won’t look right. Make sure the Cardigan is a thing material and is long flowing. Preferably grey as displayed in next picture)

Today’s look

This outfit I’ll be posting about today is inspired by the foggy gloomy weather in Britain.

I’ll be showing you looks that consist of bringing casual and chic together. This first look is a casual wear I tend to go for when I’m heading to uni or down town to pick up something quick. Kind of plain, kind of boring…

but how can I switch it from plain to chic???

To break it up you can wear this new look long sleeve shirt (£19.99) still rolled up but undo the buttons half way down and tie together. Wear a different pair of jeans! Defiantly black or white ( these are my topshop pair £34) to style it up.

With my open foot boot from primark  (£14.00)

Both outfits look completely different and only takes 2 seconds of styling for the top and change of trousers x

My life saving mascara

Hey everyone! Just like to start off by saying thanks again for liking and following my blog and post last night! Such positive comments and I can’t wait to get started❤

Mascara is an essential part of my make up routine! If I can’t be bothered doing the whole of my face, I have to put mascara on my eyes or I feel self-conscious. I am very fare haired and my lashes are ultra blonde and you won’t see them.

As you can see, they don’t look ultra blonde because I do get my eyelashes dyed ready for the summer that has just gone.

Here is my most favourite mascara product I have ever used with Rimmel. I don’t bother much with fake eyelashes because I feel the appliance with this product is enough for you, and already creates that affect of long lashes.

The main important ingredient to this mascara which makes your eyelashes look so amazing is that the product has Moroccan oil in it, so your lashes are coated with more healthy and hydrating ingredients. With each appliance my lashes do not feel stiff or dry as the oil soaks in and gives them such a natural look.

Look how extended and full they look after two sweeps front and back – (With any mascara you must apply to the back especially when you have fare eyelashes. I used to forget and people taller than me used to say my eyelashes looked grey from the back.)

Try and cover each eyelash possible to get that great affect of natural lashes. I do this because I don’t like my lashes looking clumpy and this product minimises that anyways so you don’t have to stress too much but it’s just what I like to do – since using this product I have had endless comments of “Do you wear fake eyelashes?”, “OMG your lashes look so natural…. do you curl them.” Lucky for me I don’t but you can get lovely curling stations in boots or superdrug.

I’ve loved seeing so many different reviews of mascara and how to apply for different people and the affects look amazing! I hope you guys find the time to look in to it or even purchase this amazing mascara. Thank you for taking the time to read my review I hope I was helpful x

Starting off

Hey my names jess and I’m creating this blog because I’ve wanted too for a long time now on fashion and beauty. I love having a routine but it’s just so hard to stick too! No matter how hard you try to stick notes all over your room, pop ups on your phone you can fall into lazy habits and your back to the drawing board. Today I’m back to the drawing board! I’ve let my beauty tips slide and my acne has come back on my kneck and slowly to my chin area:( it really puts me down and I try a lot of things so I just wanted to create this blog to help spread the word of what I believe is a amazing. I know my bio says fashion too so I will be posting my go to shops for everyday, uni and how to wear things so many times with out it being so noticeable😋 just loads of fun amazing tips I find useful day to day❤
